Ok, I admit it. I miss Ronald Reagan. I miss his faith, courage, optimism, hope, and dreams. Leaders like Reagan filled American's with hope of what we can do together. Reagan created a common vision that surpassed party lines and made us all Americans and proud to be so! I am proud to be an American. Is our nation perfect? Absolutely not! Is there any nation that can say that it is perfect? We have imperfect people that have joined together under the American ideals of freedom, community, duties, love, faith, hope, love, and work-ethic - to name a few. Do not surrender to the prevalent pessimism in America. Ronald Reagan gave America back its hope! That is what America needs - hope for the future! We don't need government solutions, but we do need hard-working Americans to be liberated from excessive taxes, regulations, and arbitrary power. Never underestimate the power of a free people to get the job done! Here is a special Reagan address to the National Association of Evangelicals that is filled with faith and hope! Thank you for posting this video. What an amazing leader President Reagan was, knowing where true authority comes from. One day I see a future even brighter than this one, with a President that understands the right of human life and moral authority like President Reagan does. Thank you again, Lauren

My grandparents knew President Reagan on a reasonably close level. They were invited to his personal events, and I believe his inauguration.
That being said, the ONLY things I know about President Reagan I have learned from Team, or have been lead to through Team. Orrin, I want to personally thank you for opening my eyes to the greatness of a leader I may never have known if it not for what you have done for me through Team. Reagan today is one of my greatest heroes along with Lincoln and many of my Brothers during the revolution and through WWII. It may never have been so had you not brought truth into my home. -Jason Frega 32ΒΊ Re: Ronald Reagan - National Association of Evangelicals

Wow, I guess you just came out of the neconservative closet! Now we know what type of "leader" you want to run our Country. I'm so saddened I just don't know what to say. I thought you and Chris and the rest of the leaders were all about freedom. I guess we all have a different example of what freedom means.
It's funny because "hope" is what people on the left will remember Obama for w/o looking at his policies just like people on the right remember Reagan for his "hope" w/o looking at his policies either. All because they are/were both great orators! So sad. Re: Re: Ronald Reagan - National Association of Evangelicals

Miguel, A guy who is asking everyone to read Creature from Jekyll Island, What the Fed has Done to our Money, and Von Mises is not a neo-conservative. Because I miss a leader does not mean I agree with every result of his 8 years. Also since I wasn't in his shoes, I am a leader enough to know sometimes what you want and what you get aren't the same, because of the political processes and a diffferent party owning the house and senate. All I am saying is I do not determine my friends simply on ideology, but I do on character. If they have character, we can discuss ideology and all learn. God Bless, Orrin
