My new friends Stephen Palmer, Oliver DeMille and more have founded the Center for Social Leadership. Their goal is much like the Team's - making a difference in our communities and nations. Our country's need more character based leaders and organizations like this our sister organizations in our goal of Launching a Leadership Revolution. Check out the free e-book, it is fantastic! I am praying that God will raise up a group of fearless leaders that will stand for truth in this relative post-modern age. God Bless, Orrin Woodward

Good book Orrin ~ thank you for sharing. On page 40 of the e-book there is a list of recommended movies and videos. I can now add them to our list of great media. The examples of social leadership on the same page is enlightening .. I have my work cut out for me to continue to read about these great people! Thank you!

Not to nitpick but I am confused. You say that you will pray that God will raise a group of fearless leaders. However you always say that we must change ourselves. So to ask the question, are we responsible for our changes or is God?
If I am just over analyzing it and you meant it as a figure or speech, I apologize. As for the the rest of it, I only skimmed it so far but liked what I saw. I did get a kick out of the 11th and the 36th entries under examples of social leadership :). Re: Re: The Center for Social Leadership

First off, great site & PDF. I have already shared it with other people who care about this country's teetering demise but are without a unified voice.
Now to Daryl:
Don't be confused. We are, each one of us, responsible for our actions before God. None of us can do anything "for" God, but can prepare our hearts and minds,in relationship with God, so that we may be able, when the time comes (and it is upon us even now), to discern where He is working... ...and join Him there. You change by developing a relationship with the Lord. That's job one. From that point, remain vigilant as to where you can best serve God's agenda by Him working through you. John 5:19 Re: Re: Re: The Center for Social Leadership
I'd like to add my 2 cents to this thread. In some christian doctrines there is a notion that we can be saved by faith alone. However, in the Catholic doctrine we believe that we are saved by both faith AND acts. With a strong faith AND the Team system, we are positioned to make our acts more powerful because we are focusing on principled behavior. The truth in our actions complements the truth we seek in our faith. Check out the following link for a terrific free .MP3 download that discusses in detail this faith vs acts concept. I hope that helps somebody :) http://www.biblechristiansociety.com/account/download?return=%2Fdownload%2Fmp3%2Fdebate_sola_fide.mp3

RRRustee, Great comments. Coming from a background of Catholicism and being a Protestant today, I believe both groups believe that Faith without works is dead. If someone truly believes, you will see it play out in their actions. The only rub is do actions save or are they the natural outflow of saving grace. I am not here to make that decision for anyone, but ask all to read their Bibles for themselves. Let's not divide on our differences, but unite on our many common concerns! Abortion, Culture, Economics, Leadership, Secularism etc. We have much to do and we are a Team of courageous men and women that will do it! God Bless, Orrin

Glenn Beck makes a similar compelling argument for "we the people" changing the culture in this clip.
