Here is an informative and still relevant cartoon that was produced in the 1940's. Never forget that a free people will always create more and produce more than any system that controls people. Freedom is the only system that allows the cream to rise to the top for the benefit of everyone in society. I want to thank one of my valued readers for sending this on to me. God Bless, Orrin Woodward

Who would have ever thought that a cartoon from the 40's would be so relevant to our situation today ? But too many people today are willing to give up freedom for security, and as someone once said, they'll deserve nor get either. God Bless, John Fisher

Amazing, very prophetic. If we would only look back and learn from history. Thanks for sharing.

Just goes to show you what has always been true-- "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9

Wow! What a fantastic clip. Interesting how Dr. Utopia makes mention of the body politic and how the "ism" can fix what's wrong with it. Love the way John Q. Public seemed to be sleeping until something caught his ear and "awakened" him. He then sought to get the knowledge (reading the fine print) of what Dr. Utopia was trying to peddle to him and others. He then used his level of influence to encourage others to seek the knowledge (try some "ism") and make an informed choice. Now with additional knowledge about the "ism" they then made an informed choice about their "FREEDOM".
God Bless you and yours Orrin. To the many John Q. Publics out there that are being "awakened", continue to use your influence to inform the masses of what "Dr. Utopia" really is trying to get down their throat. FREEDOM ISN'T FREE! Re: Make Mine Freedom - 1948

Orrin, I'm attaching a link from a Chicago sports radio talk show interview with Steven VanZandt that took place this afternoon. The interview is about 10 minutes long and the wisdom streaming from this man's mouth in the latter part of the interview is outstanding. Everywhere I turn, the principles the TEAM leadership teaches and stands upon is backed up by very successful, respected people! Enjoy!

Very nice video.
I especially like the part at the end where they're throwing bottle at You almost get the impression that the snake-oil salesman is an enemy of the U.S. Constitution! Do we know if the cartoon salesman was originally drawn in this country? Or is his character, perhaps, foreign made? Either way, I certainly hope we never get the wool pulled over our eyes and elect such a dangerous enemy as POTUS. And, if that ever does happen, patriots will have a lot of serious issues to consider... ...including whether or not to throw bottles, like the red-blooded American patriots in the cartoon. |
