Laurie and I took a few days off after our two week whirlwind in Las Vegas, Green Bay and Lansing. I love spending time with the family and between the pool and fire pit we stayed busy. The speakers were ... more »

From Norman Vincent Peale, "It is a fact that you project what you are." This quote describes how you think on the inside is what you become on the outside. Laurie and I changed our thinking and that changed our results. We stopped thinking about what we didn't have to succeed and began thinking about what we did have. Success is maintaining a positive attitude while going through failures. If you are willing to fail long enough, you will succeed. May God Bless you on your success journey!

Laurie and I were looking at the pictures from our last family vacation in Durango Colorado. What a beautiful place for a vacation with the kids. The mountains are incredible and the whole family went horseback riding up a mountain side. Watching Lance and Jeremy ride fearlessly through the mountain trails made me realize how far they have grown. Our youngest child is 6 years old and our oldest is 11 years. God has blessed us with some fantastic children and our business has allowed Laurie and I the honor to be with them practically 100% of the time. Laurie and I built this business to have the choices in life and this business has delivered. This is our list of vacation spots in the last 9 months, Hawaii, Key West, Peter Island, Bahamas, Colorado, Las Vegas, Cape Coral, and Traverse City. I encourage you to join the vacation of the month club. With some effort and some focus, dreams do come true! God Bless you on your journey.

This quote is from Napoleon Hill, "It is always your next move." This is such an important principle to success. People must realize that it is their decisions that ultimately lead to success or failure. Many talented people have been under-achievers because they hesitated to make decisions. You must exercise your decision making part of the brain, just like you would exercise your muscles. Practice making decisions and then following through and you will achieve more success than your neighbor ever dreamed. God Bless you on your journey.

This quote is from Victor Frankl, "Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." This quote explains exactly what has to happen inside of a leaders head. They must choose the attitude at any given point. Bad things will happen to people on their way to success, but no one can give you a bad attitude. A bad attitude is self inflicted and Laurie and I choose to have a good attitude. Show me a winner and I will show you someone who has learned to control their attitude. God Bless you on your journey.

This quote comes from Mikhail Strabo, "Knowing that you have complete control of your thinking you will recognize the power.." People must recognize the power in their thought if they wish to succeed. If you think you will lose, you will. If you think you will win, you will. You have control of your thinking and how you choose to use your thinking will determine your results. Laurie and I read to stretch out thinking. We teach others to read and grow as well! God Bless you on your journey.

Larry and I were looking over the difference in his business after joining our team and applying our system and were amazed. In over 13 years in the old system he broke one leg over and kept it over and that was our leg. In just over 3 years plugged into our system he broke 5 more legs over and has built them with big numbers to maintain his qualification. Our team builds their businesses upon a rock foundation and does not teach people to hit pins that they will never maintain. Larry and Marsie were qualifying 4 legs every month before they were counseled to move onto diamond qualification. Laurie and I teach to have a goal that stretches you abilties and then to secure that business the next year. We are so proud of Larrry and Marsie for deciding to win when the going gets tough and not to whine. Measurable results in reasonable time or something must change is a mainstay within our team. If it is not working then you must change something you are doing, because our team's system is working great. We have every pin being recognized from Silver all the way to Founders diamond at our Free Enterprise Days. Change, grow and lead the field! God Bless. Sunday, September 5

Laurie and I had some leaders over for a Saturday afternoon fun day. Over 170 qualifiers crashed our pool, football field, basketball court, pergola, and pool clubhouse. It was exciting to see all the new achievers who have stepped out and showed 15 plans and sponsored at least one person in just one of our organizations. Business is good, because the leaders continue to grow and get better. I hope you have decided to get better and make the changes necessary to lead a team. I thank God for giving us the dream to make a difference and the vehicle for allowing that dream to come true. Thank You Team leaders for inspiring Orrin and Laurie. God Bless!

The Team cannot wait for Fall Leadership/Free Enterprise Weekend! There are new diamonds, new emeralds, new sapphires, and loads of new platinums to recognize. I can't wait to see their faces as they walk across and share their stories of overcoming the obstacles. Laurie and I used to go to two weekends just to get more information. That is how hungry we were to learn. In the end I believe hunger is what separates those who make it from those who don't. All the skills can be learned and the people met, but there is no substitute for hunger. Dig into your books & tapes to cull every ounce of information you need to propel your business forward. We want you to move onto diamond on the Team and Quixtar! God Bless!

Back in 2000 when Laurie and I went Diamond, Larry and Marsie, our upline, wore a ruby pin. When Laurie and I started the business they wore a ruby pin. To say that they were not advancing would be a true statement. Larry and Marsie still had the dream inside of them and a willingness to work. When they asked Laurie and I to mentor them, we said yes and went to work to teach them the Team system. Larry and Marsie were great students and four years later are welcomed as new Quixtar and Team Diamonds. Dreams do come true for those willing to work, willing to struggle, and willing to change. Larry and Marsie have made us so proud of their example and willingness to be humble . They have become some of our best students on the whole team. Let's all salute the Dream, Struggle, Victory of Larry and Marsie and we will see you at Free Enterprise Day! God Bless.
