The integrity and character that you all have modeled throughout this journey has been an inspiration and motivation. We too have been on a journey with you the last 6 months as the Holy Spirit has refined us. I want to thank you for everything you have done. I have been a part of the Team for just under two years. Going to school, homework, working many hours a week just to stay above water financially, I meet many negative people. I met a great young lady about two years ago when I just got started with the Team. We both had some issues to work out. But throughout the entire relationship, if it weren't for the Team system, we wouldn't be together today. I learned different personalities, I learned love languages, appology languages, I learned to smile, I learned how to have confidence and posture, I learned how to lead my friends and now my future wife. With all your recomendations, your life has changed many lives. She is just starting to see all the changes that the Team system has made in me and she is beginning to read and listen to CD's as well. I follow your and other Team leader's examples and led my fiance to start reading seriously for one of the first times in her life. In fact, she actually wanted to come to St. Louis this next weekend, but it was too late for her to get time off. I know our life has been improved. Thank you so much. I look forward to seeing you in Policy Council one day and meeting in person someday soon!

Sorry Orrin I forgot to mention a few things earlier. Come to think of it....I can't sleep! I know the whole TEAM is locked and loaded ready to roll. For the past 6 months many of us have really conditioned for this race ahead. Earlier today on a post I mentioned this quote that I wanted to share with everyone. Joe Frazier said "all my training and hard work shows up the night when the lights come on." There is an old cliche' that states "all is well that ends well", well for all of us, we are looking forward to starting and leaving the past as a cloud of dust! I say we change the cliche' and say: "All is well that begins well." We have taken our marks and are set for the starter to sound the gun.

looks like I know what I'm doing tomorrow morning. :) Morning coffee sounds good, too, I haven't done that in a while. My fiance and I are also going back for another marriage counseling session tomorrow afternoon. I've read the first 3 chapters of "The Light and the Glory", and it's an amazing book ... exactly what I was looking for when the pastor recommended "Lies my Teacher Told Me". Have you thought about adding a top 5 books on history? I'll recommend it to him, but I'm going to hurry up and finish the book so I can just donate it to the church for him and others (Sunday school?) to read. Can't wait to see what you've got to say tomorrow!

I just sat up, wide awake, heart racing. For a moment I thought something was wrong. Maybe I heard something?
As my heart slowed down, I found myself wondering through the house. I made it to the office and checked the blog.
Part of me saying,"Dude, you have lost it." The other part was screaming inside like a sugared up five year old on Christmas morning.
I rarely wake up in the middle of the night considering the hours I have been working.
I clicked on your blog.
I wish I had the time to put down everything going through my mind right now. On the other hand, I do have to get up at 4:30am and go to a job.
I will simply say this. I have no idea what you are going to say tomorrow. Thank you anyway.

It truly has been a long 6 months, but the facts are plain. Today, with your morning coffee in hand, you will be bringing the future into focus for many people. We have been waiting to find out what you have learned through the benchmarking process. I'm sure we will be suprised by what you have to share. Just know that we all are grateful for your wisdom and leadership. Personally, I have grown much and though there is much more for me to learn, I know that with God's guidance, and the TEAM's leadership training, my wife and I will reach our goals and see our dreams come to life. Good morning Orrin. Thank you for keeping us updated - words cannot tell you how much this blog has meant to so many of us along this journey! As I have heard many team leaders say, "We stayed in because my wife and I (or my husband & I ) didn't quit at the same time" - and sometimes, that's what it comes down to - we rely on another person's hand up (not hand out) to keep our head in the game and our spirits lifted. You have done just that for many of us - at least, I can definitely say that is true for my family!

Sometimes just a nugget here or there has been all that is needed to make the difference. Anxious to hear what you have to share - and trusting you and the other leaders - as we make the final ascent.
