Happy Birthday, Chris. My kids hear your cds and watch your dvds so often, they feel like you're a distant uncle or something. May God bless you, guide you, prosper you, and may His light continue to shine through you, to reach others for Him. My favorite saying is "Be the Moon!", as in, having no light of your own, but reflecting that of the greater source of light and sharing it to benefit the world. Thanks for being the moon to so many of us who's light of hope had gone out. It's nice to dream again.

Happy Birthday Chris! I love the way you teach leadership principles with stories and humor. You keep my spirit up, even when showing me areas I need to grow. Thanks for being such a great leader to look up to.

Hi Orrin. I am 14 years old and attended my first Team seminar last night. God meant for me to go see the seminar led by Armando and Marj Cuellar. It was an experience that I needed, and one that I will hang onto. It taught me important things, things I can use in my everyday life, and I'll try to do that to succeed in the near future. Life isn't easy, but with wonderful people like them and many others becoming better, we can turn this society, this planet, into a much better place. When I returned from the seminar, a great reward awaited me (but I won't say what), and I was very glad that I went. Most of all, I look forward to what God has in store for the Team and myself and how it will change the way people see things for the better. I sincerely wish Chris a Happy Birthday and maybe someday when you and Chris come to North Dakota I'll be able to meet you! I am so grateful that the Team has become such a good influence in our lives. Oh, my 10 year old brother wants to say "hi" too! Peace be with you, Mylee.

Happy Birthday Chris,
I don't know whether it is ironic or appropriate that a leader of your stature actually has given so many others the gift of so much wisdom the last 72 hours or so. Along with at least a few book signings, you have blessed us with 4 incredible speeches. Men's Leadership in Flint and 3 speeches last night in Saginaw. I know you hear it all the time, but they were all incredible. I for one almost feel guilty knowing that on your birthday you are serving us. But then, you'd probably have it no other way being the embodiment of the leadership principles that you teach. I'm sure there is no doubt in your mind that your reward awaits you beyond anything this world has to offer. Rest assured, you inspire countless of us to come to the same realization ourselves. I came across this poem in a parenting book called "Active Parenting Now," that I use for a class that I teach, it is written by Michael H. Popkin. The poem mentions obstacles which made me think of Chris, the poem embodies so much of who you both are and I am grateful to be learning and growing in my own courage thanks to the TEAM system.
Here's the poem: Courage and Fear Courage first met fear When I was still a child; Courage gazed with cool, clear eyes; Fear was something wild. Courage urged, “Let’s go ahead.” Fear said, “Let’s turn back.” Courage spoke of what we had; Fear of what we lacked. Courage took me by the hand And warmed my frozen bone; Yet Fear the while tugged at my legs And whispered, “We’re alone.” Many have been the obstacles Since first I had to choose, And sometimes when Courage led me on I’ve come up with a bruise. And many have been the challenges Since Fear and Courage met, And yet those times I’ve followed Fear, Too often – tagged along Regret. Michael H. Popkin Thanks for your examples of courage!
