Here is a super message from one of the last great American Icons. John Wooden's life is better than any sermon on success, humility, and service to others. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. God Bless, Orrin Woodward

What an awesome video, thanks for posting this Orrin.
I think it is amazing to listen to someone like John Wooden pour out years of wisdom and principles right from the heart. I like his 3 rules he had while coaching...Never be late, not one word of profanity, and never criticize a teammate. That is good advise. Re: John Wooden on True Success

Hi Orrin,
Thanks for the amazing influence you have brought to this country one person at a time. You are truly making a difference. Another cool little video from Ted is this one about delayed gratification in children called "Don't Eat the Marshmellow Yet." http://www.ted.com/talks/joachim_de_posada_says_don_t_eat_the_marshmallow_yet.html Thanks Shawn and Cassie Semper Veritas Re: Re: Re: John Wooden on True Success

OUR DEEPEST FEAR (Coach Carter)
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world; there is nothing in enlightened about shrinking so that, other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. Its not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others. I say thank you to TEAM, a world-class Self-Improvement Success System. Re: John Wooden on True Success

Hi Orrin,
on Joachim Posada and Don't eat the Marshmallow Yet--Larry and I met Joachim through Carlos Fontana a year or two ago and liked him. Marshmallow is about delaying gratification. Larry will be sharing the stage this weekend with him in PR. Granny Re: John Wooden on True Success
