Wow, I knew tech is growing in a path never imagined but, I was short in my appreciation of the reality. Thank you very much.

Wow, I did not know. Very interesting. One point that hit me was that students that are in school right now, the things they are learning in their first year will be out of date by their last year. Seems to me it is more important to focus education on foundational aspects of a person’s character and mind rather than technical skills and abilities.
I just finished the book Thomas Jefferson Education and it brought some interesting things to light for me. Rather than focusing on technical skills as an education, focus on foundational aspects of a person’s character and integrity. If a person gets that right, they can learn any skill that is required in a particular field. Just my thoughts. Thanks for all you do! Paul Re: Re: The Flat World

Hi
I just read it, TJE, a few days ago also. It's never to late to start the classic reading/talking/writing process. Google ...."the Weekly Standard" here are some opinions you'll not see in your newspaper on whats going on in Washington, DC. I just finished Anne of Green Gables, and part way through "the Closing of the American Mind". Amazingly Anne of GG said similar things like Orrin and Laurie say on CD. Like not choosing the same mistakes over and over again, pick some new ones. Responsibility for your actions. And many others, and the book was written in the early 1900's. Thanks to Orrin And Laurie, Dave Nelson Re: The Flat World

I *really* like that they posed the question "So what does it all mean?" without answering it. We are supposed to answer it--to ourselves and each other.
This video is *astounding*. I am posting this video to my Facebook after the House breaks for a month (until then, too much political stuff necessary on HR3200 to put out there). 1 of 8 couples married last year met online?? I need to get cracking on my eHarmony backlog! ;D In a way, a few things in this video are a little frightening to me, but maybe that's only because we're being pushed into the unknown far faster than ever before, at an exponential rate. Also, the idea/fact that information we're learning is becoming outdated constantly is a little frightening. Well, principles are universal and eternal, anyway. "Star Trek: The Next Generation" is set around A.D. 2364. I wonder if we'll blow way past its predictions by the time we get to 2364. Re: The Flat World

Great video! I just used it to make a contact @ a mall. My son wanted to check out some sports tees &, while in the store, the Manager asked me "So what's the MORE project all about?" (I was wearing the tee shirt).
Turns out he's a recent college grad with zero success so far in jobs relating to his field (Marketing) and took a job managing a sports outlet in the mall. I mentioned MORE, Mona Vie, how things are changing so fast that most of what I studied in college is now obsolete & how skill with people never goes out of style. He shared with me that most of his graduate friends hate their new jobs, etc.; so I qualified him & now we'll see if he's as serious as he says he is... Right here, right now. Re: The Flat World

Thank you for posting this video. More reason for people to know how to find correct information. Thank you for all that you and the rest of the leaders do so people like myself can find truth.

You don't have to post this, but I found it interesting:
http://www.businessforhome.org/mlm-500-top-earners/ Of course I believe they were way off on your estimated monthly earnings (on the low side by far) so who knows if the information is accurate for the others. It is simply amazing how many spots MonaVie holds in the top 100 and top 500 MLM earners. |
