Re: George Washington - Centurion Principles
by

Orrin,
Many times in life we sometimes forget the reason we are doing the thing we set out to do in the first place. I have been "checked by God" many times to "keep the main thing, the MAIN thing" 15 years ago my wife and I started a great business by joining a group of other business owners. The hope of someday becoming wealthy and job optional was very enticing. We often found ourselves thinking or "consumed" with that goal. There is nothing wrong with that in and of it self. However, our MAIN THING should be to set an example and lead others to a higher purpose and cause.
We knew that we could make a difference WHERE we were and HOW we were ONLY if we were GROWING daily ourselves. People see what we are and who we are and will allow us to lead them only if we are on the journey ourselves. That being said, leads me to my point. Last September WE chose to take a new direction in our business. On the outside it seemed all was lost. Many friends and family thought we were crazy and had LOST everything. Sometimes we even thought that way!
But we knew the true value of our business, "THE MAIN THING" could never be lost unless it ceased to be the MAIN THING. That is why George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and others "even today’s heroes, hint hint" those who live the Centurion Principles make such a huge impact on our lives and will be remembered and respected for all times. They kept the Main thing the Main Thing. We are inspired and honored to be on the journey and associated with men and women of the classics even if they are from the 21st century.
Thanks Orrin for Keeping the Main Thing the Main Thing,
