Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Abraham Lincoln - Stephen Douglas Debates

Orrin, In this post you talked about "force is a terrible principle to use to settle a disagreement". In light of the Revolutionary War and a fight for freedom what is your thought? We are so far from the Constitution and our "unalienable rights" that I have often feared we would need another war for freedom in this country. We can no longer own property, work, use the common mode of transportation without permission from the government. Under the guise of security for the people the government now licenses everything to supposedly stop criminals. I could expound upon all the rights violations we live under now, but to my point - Was force necessary to gain our freedom after much negotiation with England failed? I hope and pray war is not necessary to regain our freedom here in the US. Since becoming a part of the TEAM I have come to believe we can change this country through millions of people trained as leaders. I am excited about our future and no longer think the downfall of our nation is inevitable. Thank you for your vision, leadership and the opportunity to be part of something legendary. Steve
