Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Lou Holtz - Three Questions
by Anonymous
Hey Orrin, Over the last year I have read over 36 books recommended by Team Leadership and these books have changed me from the inside out. They have aided me in recognizing the strengths and weaknesses in leadership, especially my own. I have failed miserably in some of the areas Lou Holtz presents and learned valuable lessons along the way. I have come to the realization that "I do not know what I do not know" and recognize that Team offers me a lifetime of learning and growing to become all God meant me to be. With post like this, and through the books, audios, videos, Cds, Seminars, and Conventions offered by Team, I and many of my associates have learned that our lives have a purpose and we must lead with "trust and character excellence, and care". The opportunity with Team opens doors for my continued, ongoing, and lifelong quest for "personal mastery". I realize, that the only one I can change is me, however, I can offer the opportunity and environment to grow to others. My greatest rewards come from witnessing the lives of my associates light-up with passion and enthusiasm because of the timeless principles taught and promoted by Team and its leadership. For your continued insight, your wisdom, and your heart, I thank you for your examples. Nick
