Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

Don't you think this illustrates why the Bible is the standard in the instruction of leadership and absolute truth!! All of the truths in this article are found in the Bible...and it has been unchanged for over 2000 years! Isn't that exciting. That's the sort of truth I can get my arms around! Unchanging...absolute...solid. If Proverbs 1:7 reports "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline."...AND Ephsians 2:10 reports "we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works" (wow, God's workmanship!!)...AND Roman's chapter 1 discusses what happens to us when we devalue God... Then the only way cynicism can arise, is if we forget: 1) Who created us; 2) why we were created and; 3) what happens to us when we don't follow His direction and perfect plan for our lives, preferring to follow our own plan. Haven't we followed the pattern of Roman's 1 in our country? Haven't we devalued our Creator, held our own wisdom above His? Haven't we traded the glory of an immortal God for the images of mortal things? Haven't we forgotten why we were created? Haven't we lost our fear (awestruck) of Him? Basic leadership principle...You will only protect, pay attention to, invest in that which you value. Increase our value (e.g. "awestruck"...high view) in Him and enjoy the revival and resurgence of a Godly nation!! Blessings... Paul
