Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Six Degrees of Separation & Making a Difference

Orrin, I really like your thinking on this one!! I've always marvelled on how I bump into someone and after a few questions, I find out they know someone I know through a mutual friend and we almost always comment on how 'small' the world is. This is even more frequent now with people coming out for holiday shopping! Thank you for increasing my vision in this area - I somedays get trapped in small-scale thinking. Also, a side-note, have you read the book "Turning Points in Military History" by William Weir? I had that book recommended to me by a friend. Any comments on the book if you have read it? If you've posted something about it in the past, please forgive me for not remembering. My ever-grateful thanks, Benjamin
