Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Separation of Religion & State?

In another posting I commented on how far we are from the constitution and the founding fathers intentions. This is yet another example of this. We are constantly sold lies and people accept them. I absolutely agree with you - particularly in your illustration with the dutch. We suffer from the agenda of a few in government to eliminate God from society. Much like my stance on guns - make guns illegal and only criminals will have them - remove God from society and you will have a godless society may sound good on the surface to some atheists or liberals, but in practice it would be found that godlessness is not a safe, peaceful or enjoyable condition. As I have said previously I fear for our nation. I believe a media war will help educate the people and that is the beginning. I also believe 1 million leaders knowing right from wrong and influencing millions more will be a massive step toward correcting the wrongs our government is perpetuating under the guise of law. I have studied many of the steps that have shaped our nation and led us away from our Constitution historically and my question is were we right to do those things that seem directly attributable to our "greatness" as a nation? When Lincoln forced the Union of the states, our infrastructure that was greatly developed by FDR, and many other steps that our nation has taken that really were unconstitutional, but lead to the great power we have as a nation. Would we have been a great nation with the constitutional small government? I have heard arguments that without violating the constitution we would be too weak and never have achieved what we have. I believe we would have been greater if we had restricted government. I think all the greatness we have achieved is in spite of the government and is directly due to our freedom, ingenuity and stubborn persistence. Thank you.
