Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Re: Separation of Religion & State?

BINGO!!! Good one Matt. You have it absolutly right in the last paragraph where you wrote "...more people don't stand up and fight... because they do not believe one person can make that big of a difference." On more than one occasion I've talked with people about politics and sometime during the conversation they tell me that they don't vote because their 'one' vote won't change anything. I usually get pretty upset around this time, as I'm sure you can imagine, but I try not to lose my temper. Anyone who thinks that way is not worth me wasting my time talking to them about politics. I've also seen the same apathy concerning religion. I totally believe that 84% of the population says they are "Christian" but what I don't believe is that they actually are. I'm a bit of an outsider when it comes to Christianity but I've met enough real, sincere Christians to know the difference between someone who lives according to Christian values and someone who just sits in a pew on Sunday and mouths the words to a few hymns and leaves their values in the sanctuary when it's time to go. Not to mention the "Christians" who don't even make it that far. You and Carrie are awesome and Rachel and I love getting you perpectives on issues like these. Lead On, Bert
