Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Presidential Election 2008 - Principles - American Patriotism

As a 20 year veteran of our armed forces, I particularly love the diversity our country encourages. Every assignment brought me very close to every color, religion, philosophy and opinion you can imagine. Yet we all were willing to give our lives to preserve everyone's right to have those opinions. It is a common love for country that brings people together, not some of the minutiae our current "leaders" seem to get bogged down in. I am personally impressed by Mike Huckabee and his overall love for the principles this country was founded on. Though a strong Christian, he understands that living in a fallen world means everyone is a part of this great nation, and ought to be included in its government. Despite a great all-inclusive attitude, he stands by absolute principles. Like others I know, that is a leader I can follow!
