In order to lead our great nation one has to have a knowledge of how we got where we are and where we need to improve so that we can continue to be the nation that provides an equal opportunity for all citizens. I think the principles of a government that serves the citizens and respects the idea that a citizen knows what is best for himself are what make the United States unique and brings people here with a hope for a brighter future. To me the one candidate who exemplifies this is Alan Keyes.
