Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

Fair tax is step in right direction (by not penalizing production), yet is still flawed, and needs rethinking. Mitt Romney is not a politician trying to undrstand fiscal matters, he is a venture capitalist trying to cut out all the waiste and spending in our federal government. Did you know he inherited a massive deficit when he took office in Massachusets? When left, 4 years later, they had a surplus- without raising broad-based taxes. He did raise fees that had not been updated in several years, to cover the costs of those services, yet CUT SPENDING, eliminated waist in the state nick-named "Taxechusetts" (before he came into office). He did the same in the Olympics, and the same in the business world for 25 years. HE UNDERSTANDS OUR ECONOMY and the threat of China steeling our jobs. He is the most like Ronald Reagan. Huckabee is very likeable, and has solid values, yet just simply is not completely in line with conservative economic principles. Liberals also always have a million "good" reasons for the taxes they support. (i.e. education and roads, very important, yet people are allready taxed enough. Key is to cut spending) Just some thoughts.
