Whether Romney spread his religious views or not does not make him qualified nor unqualified for president. If we attack one another's faiths then we hand certain victory to the platforms of no faith whatsoever. I believe all the people of faith must unite to elect candidates who will maintain our freedom of worship and both Huckabee and Romney would do so. I have strong views on how to worship God, but politics is not electing my pastor. The president must lead with values derived from the Bible and I know Jews, Mormon, Presbertyrians, Methodist, Catholics, Baptist etc. that all would lead with principles and qualify for president in my book. Freedom of Religion means we respect our differences in how we specifically worship God and unite on the principles on how we love one another. This is the miracle of America that different faith did not destroy one another for differences in their worship of God, but united around core precepts (Love your neighbor, Do unto others as you would have them do to yourself, Do not lie, steal, cheat, adultery, covet, etc) Any candidate that follows the precepts is qualified for president. How I choose to worship will be a matter between my God, my family and my church. I love the discussion and want to ensure we are uniting around the core precepts and not dividing (and playing right into the Anti-God camp) over specifics of our individual faiths. Keep the great thoughts coming! thanks, Orrin
