Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Historical Reminscences & A Vision for the Future - Part II
by Jordan
I am also pretty new to TEAM (9 mths) but just in the last six months I've seen our little town Team grow faster and get stronger. We have an amazing up line who constantly praise us for our work and show us they believe in us by making the 4 hr drive (one way) each week to help us learn. Now I am enjoying this opportunity to learn more about the history. At the same time, I am a melancholy, so obviously the suspense of this new detail in our business is killing me!! But I can honestly say if tomorrow nothing ever came out of this, I would not regret: the time and energy I spent with our positive and uplifting up line, the hours driving to meetings listening to Cds with my Husband, the awesome information I've been learning (and somewhat applying to my life) from the fabulous books, and the fact that I can proudly say I've taken a chance and tried something new!! This whole Internet business is a hard concept to swallow in the small town I live. Many people here are 'comfortable' with 'normal' and have no understanding of what we are doing. Facing negative comments and funny looks is a daily occurrence. But with your positive encouragement, our wonderful up line, and a shoulder to lean on amongst our Team, We are holding our heads high and striving to make a Difference!! Thanks Orrin for this chance!! ~Melissa~
