Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Historical Reminscences & A Vision for the Future - Part III

Orrin - I wanted to add two things : 1) Your Comment "I felt confident that in the next two years we would get there and change America for the better! I wanted to make my three year term on the Board count. " -- rest assured, your term on the Board did count - that experience has led you and other IBO Board members to where you are today - you forged some great friendships while you were there and you learned a lot - couldn't be where we are today if that experience didn't happen. All providential, I'm sure - God has a way of putting his Hand in and directing our life- if we only submit to His guidance. and 2) I wonder if you have a HUGE Smile on your face today as you write these posts. I can only imagine how I would feel if I were in your shoes - and just the torrent of encouragement coming across the blog would make me smile! Actually, it IS making me smile! Team Leaders - I think I hear your destiny calling....... On pins and needles here!
