Re: Re: A History Lesson - Winston Churchill

Lets look at it from another angle. I will take you to the battle of Lake Erie in 1812. Captain of the vessel was Oliver Hazzard Perry. Oliver Perry was a very young boy when he began building and repairing ships. I believe he was 12 years old. At the time of the war he was only 27. He was the captian of the vessel named the Lawrence.
This ship bore the famous words from another captain by the name James Lawrence. In the battle in the Boston Harbor a few short months before. Those words "Don't give up ship" in his dieing breath. The Lawrence was taking a pounding from the British ship named the Detroit. After several hours and out of a crew of 108. The battle had taken its toll on the ship. Captain Perry looked around at his crew, 21 of them had died, and 68 were wounded. As he looked at the flag that bore those words he had no choice but to abandon ship.
He took a few men and rowed to the Niagra another ship that was less than a half a mile away. As they were being fired upon making their way to the Niagra. After arriving at the Niagra he took command of the ship from Captain Jesse Elliot, and proceeded back to engage the battle with the Detroit. After 15 minutes they had defeated the British and took control of Lake Erie.
You say where am I going with this story, Orrin, Chris and the leaders of Team have given us alternative paths. Just because Captain Oliver gave up the Lawrence he won the War. He had the vison, the determination to win. Our goal of a million is a joke, as to the billions this vision will effect. As for me and my family we will stand with our feet planted in the foundation of the biblical principles, the moral values and the integrity of what the Team is.
Thanks to all the Leaders of the Team I will not let your hard work die in vain. We will not let the goals and dreams of the people of the world go down with the ship. We will stand united as one and take this to another level. At the level at which the fathers of our country stood for.
GO TEAM 300!!!!!!
