This article was perfect for me to read right now. Thank you Orrin for posting it! Being only eighteen years old and having been involved in learning and growing for a little while now, I am able to see the both sides of the coin very well in this situation, especially pertaining to my generation. When I am at school, I see thirty thousand kids in my age range wandering around this institution of "higher learning" and I have to wonder to myself "what are we really learning here??" To further that thought, in three out of my four classes, videos were implemented on a very regular basis to do a majority of the teaching! It truly goes to show that we are a video oriented culture, but if I have anything to say about it, and about my generation, THAT, GOOD SIR, IS GOING TO CHANGE!!
