Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Live, Love & Learn from the Last Lecture
by Gary S.
Orrin, I've heard you humbly say that you don't want people "falling all over you". You would rather your courage be an example for others as opposed to a showpiece for status or success. As Mr. Pautsch courageously stated at the end of his talk, he did what he did for his wife and kids to set the example of true courage under the most dire circumstances. He's leaving a legacy to his family that will far outlive any of them! What a blessing to be able to give that to someone you love before you're gone. So many people exit this world without leaving that lasting legacy. I'm very grateful that TEAM has come into my life and gave me that opportunity to do that for my family. My goal is to leave them with a legacy that will help make a difference in their lives as well as their generations of families lives. It's a very demanding task, but, thanks to TEAM I'm up for the challenge! God Bless ~Gary S.
