Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Live, Love & Learn from the Last Lecture
by Jackie
Good morning Orrin, I have never seen or heard about this. Truly amazing and inspirational. Watching & listening to this really makes a person wake up and realize that life does mean something and can change in a moment. Some of the take aways for me that hit hard were: It's not the things we do so much but the things we don't do Hope for the best & plan for the worst The purpose of death is to appreciate life Live life as though you could die tomorrow What a wake up call Orrin. When they are playing catch with the autographed football, it reminded me of something that my sister Kim and I have talked about many times. Why should we wait to use the "good" towels or the "good" china. Putting it away for that "special" day is silly. What are we waiting for? Every day is special and we should use the "good" stuff because life is good and we only get one chance here on earth. Let's make God proud of us and live each day to the fullest!! Let's continue to serve people and do what God has planned for us. This blog is such an inspiration to so many people. Thank you for sharing this with us. God Bless, Jackie
