Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Randy Pausch - Live, Love & Learn from the Last Lecture
by Phill
Team system impacts culture I just wanted to let everyone know that I shared this with my class of "at-risk" teens today and will do so for each of my 4 blocks. This was an excellent video, very heartfelt, with some very good points sprinkled throughout. I can conclude that this man Randy has spent many hours in leadership development himself, his stature cannot be simply from living life and those quotes are so well known it is important to realize that while he may not have known his whole life that this sickness was going to happen and this was going to be a major chapter in his story, God was preparing him. This makes me more hungry...imagine the people out there that cannot deal with struggle like this...our Team system develops leaders and people to be able to handle all things that happen. Grace and peace, love and caring, being able to look into someone's eyes and speak no words but say so much. My encouragement to everyone out there is to take this 30 minutes and feel it, learn from it, but most importantly use it. Each day we are given 24 hours...use them to prepare for what you have been called to do. May God's gentle but oh so firm hand push you to become what He knows you are Phill
