Re: Trust, Delegation & Productivity

Orrin,
I hesitate to use the word "easy" but, that's an easy answer. The leaders that I'm following live up to what's been "advertised". Example, two years ago I became a part of TEAM. Before I even made that decision, the person that brought me onboard told me what would happen should I decide to follow an elite leadership program. The results would be limitless. He edified the class Leadership of the TEAM from the Woodward's,Brady's and Guzzardo's right on down to the Peters, Hawkins and Leurquins. I believe I gave these people 6 months to prove to me that they were the "real deal". Looking back, I knew way before then that this was truly something special. Something uncommon! People looking me in the eyes and telling me they were going to do something and actually following through on it. Not only that, not judging me based on my (at the time!) "cocky", lousy attitude. In case you didn't know, I already knew everything coming into this program. There was nothing I could be taught that I didn't already know! My leaders treated me with respect and "empathy" from day one as they still do today! I came into this program with the hunger to "earn" and have become a diehard with my hunger to "learn". The "earn" part get's taken care of when the "learn" part is executed! (another true statement by the Team Leadership!) The past 6 months has been the most educational period in my life. I was told from day one that I would learn about character, integrity, courage, committment, loyalty and purpose. The TEAM leadership has delivered on that as well. So, to answer your question... "What do my leaders do to earn my trust and loyalty"?....... They love me for who I am. They choose to "encourage" when others "discourage", they choose to "lift others" when others choose to "criticize" and they tell me the truth, to help me, rather than lie to me, to passify me.......The bottom line is, they act like leaders. With their example, it's allowed me, by my own choice, to want to do the same. Let's keep paying this forward to ONE MILLION AND BEYOND! God Bless~ Gary S.
