Your comments struck a chord (a good chord) with me this morning. I shudder to think how many relationships could be so much stronger right now if only I spent more time on them. If I approach my teammates with tasks and the relationships are weak, we are not going to go very far. The leaders I am most apt to follow are those who are competent and trustworthy and who take the time to know me and show they care. I am very serious about learning to do the same for my team.
