Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Tri-Lateral Leadership Ledger - Character Based Leadership
by Anonymous
Dear Orrin & Team, I have a high degree of Dominant personality. Having been raised in the 1960 it was easy for me to tell people what "I knew was right". As I grew older it became harder and harder to intimidate others into doing what I wanted. But, then I found out there was another way. Many authors were writting books with sly tricks that could be used to get others to do what I wanted. But, then Christ came into my life and what he said just didn't agree with those sly tricks. I am so glad that the training system of the team has taught me about servant leadership, about character, integrity, not just not doing wrong, but doing right, about listening to others, about edification, about building up others, about giving giving credit to others. I have discovered while leading Volunteer in MIssion teams to help people recover from Hurricane disasters that the principles that the Team stands on work. I praise God for men like you that are willing to seek the truth, stand by the truth, and be the example. May we all follow your example of leadership. Skipper
