Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

Orrin:ANother great post! My belief is that our generation (and I include myself in that group) takes so many of our freedoms for granted because it's the way life has always been for us. We haven't had to engage in any major battles to preserve our own personal freedoms. It changed (some) on Sept 11th - but don't you feel like there is a sort of complacency again as life has returned to normal for most US citizens? Lulled right back into our state as before Sept 11th. I think the ones in the US who probably appreciate our freedoms the most today are those in the Armed Services or police dept's - and their families - because it is so much a part of their daily life. That's what makes our involvement in Team and the media war so key - - we need to take steps to ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today remain our freedoms for today. If we are complacent and don't take action to preserve what we have and be aware of past history and threats of our future, we will lose freedoms. Great post - what a great way to start the day! Ann
