Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves. - D.H. Lawrence Most people want security in this world, not liberty. - H.L. Mencken This is truer and truer everyday. I think its just lazyness. People want something for nothing and want the government to take care of them. It frustrates me when I see my friends, or whoever else, talking about presidential candidates and how they want to help "the people" out more when they dont know how our freedom was won or how to keep it. Like I heard Bob Mcewin(forgiveme for my spelling) say "its never a good thing when say their sending in the government to help". Dont get me wrong Im not an anarchist or against government. I'm just for a small government in order to keep our freedoms how they have been for the past many years. Devin
