Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Mel Gibson - William Wallace - Sons of Scotland

Thanks Orrin, this is perfect. Braveheart rose long ago to my all-time favorite movie. It was replaced, for a short while, by The Matrix (original, not the clones)...but, because it’s rooted in reality, the saga of William Wallace, his quest for a free land, and those he inspired along the way is "Numero Uno". But rather than mere inspiration...we are living in a time when our freedoms are actually in jeopardy. If Congress took away all they’ve taken away in one fell swoop, there’d be rioting in the streets. However, one at a time: a tax here, a restrictive law there...toss in some bad judicial interpretations...and we have quite a mess on our hands. Don’t get me wrong: this is still the best place on earth to live. But when you’re picking up your marker tonight, envision it (analogously) as a musket...or a rifle. It is NOT being overly dramatic to assert that in showing the plan, and in winning new allies to our mission (of a million!), that we are winning back our country...and reestablishing a way of life that can work for everyone who is willing to “gut it up”. GO TEAM!
