Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Mel Gibson - William Wallace - Sons of Scotland

Orrin, I don't think any movie scene can compete with that scene from Braveheart. Definitely one of the best movies of all time. Freedom is something most take for granted. God bless all who have fought and sacrificed throughout history so that the rest of us can be free. My 22 year old nephew was shot and killed in Fallujah in November of 2004. Being a Marine, his unit was the first to go in when the war started and only 12 out of 48 survived over a 3 year period. I met some of the men at the funeral and could not believe what true leaders they are. It really hit home and was a total wake up call. All of them just kids. Most of us will never have to fight a battle or defend what is ours. Thank you to all of our vererans who are fighting and have fought and died so that we may live as free people. Although we may never be in battle like William Wallace and company, we have other battles to fight. The Team is at the forefront of a great cause. A friend of mine asked me the other day if I was still doing the Team thing. I told him its not something that I do, its something that I am! The best organization I have ever been involved with. Thank you to Orrin and Chris and all of the other leaders for all that they have endured. We will affect the culture in this country and re-define the American dream. Perid, paragraph.
