Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Mel Gibson - William Wallace - Sons of Scotland

A very timely post. Lately I have been rather disappointed at work. Living in Canada, people tend to be more left than right-wing. The people I work with display this very well - they are all good friends of mine. But recently the subject matter has turned political. I don't mind if people disagree with me politically/economically, I enjoy a good debate. But a surprising number of people here have been telling me that the terrorist attacks on 9-11-01 were planned by the government. I am shocked and appalled, since this discussion also lead to the subject of the war on terrorism. I do not like war, but sometimes it is necessary, and as your post points out in several quotes, we are not truly free as long as we allow tyranny and opression in the world. It is always good to read your uplifting posts, especially within the last few days for me. I don't mean to post anything negative, I just want to make it clear that I deeply appreciate this blog.
