Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

Orrin, wonderful post as always. I am so proud to be a part of this team. You asked about people's favorite scene from movies. This one doesn't really fit with the "war" movies, but it is about doing your personal best. The clip is from a Christian film called "Facing The Giants". It is a football movie, and in the clip the leader of the school football team has written off the next game as a loss. He thinks the opponent is "a lot stronger than we are". The coach challenges him to do his absolute best in a drill. The player says "Im about out of strength" and the coach says "then negotiate with your body to find more strength, but you don't you give up on me". As a grown man, I can't watch this without crying. I know the message in this clip can apply to all leaders of the team. No matter how much you are doing, I believe you have more in you. Lets go to a million! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_wyBftd8gk
