Ian, I am proud to be a part of a TEAM of men like yourself who are making a difference in this world. The man you met with may not have a blog (YET) to share the effect you have just had on his morning however that changes nothing. You had an effect! You stepped outside your comfort zone and reached out to another. You showed compassion, you listened, you empathized. You were self deprecating in your humor. Most importantly, you encouraged someone who obviously needed some encouragement. For the meager cost of a breakfast and some space at your table, you made a difference. It is because of men like you, putting all this leadership stuff into action in an attempt to make this a better world, that I am proud to be associated with this TEAM.
