Orrin, The book E-Myth is just the tip of the sword.I work for a heating contractor/boiler manufacturer in Brooklyn NY.The leaders of this company,myself included are currently in our 2nd year of E-Myth business coaching.(It costs a lot of money).We are mentored 1.5 hours per week,through a teleconference by an e-myth business coach.We also are using training booklets to help us create systems.The business owner's goal is to create a business that is not people dependant. I must say the results for the business have been astounding.Personally it has taught me to think systematically. Before the coaching started, whenever I ran into a problem my first reaction was to look at the person who was responsible for the problem.I would then try to change that person, or if they could not be "rehabilitated" I would replace that person.Now I always look at the system first.I have found 9 times out of 10 that the system is faulty and the person is doing the best they can within the existing system.The point of this post is not to promote E-myth but to extoll the virtues of a system based business.If we rely on systems not people to run the business we can free the people to do more important things like relationship building,customer service,ETC....Since Joining Team in July of 2007 and totally committing myself to the Team Training System, things are starting to become clearer.The cobwebs are lifting and I am activly looking for Teammates/Leaders who want to join us in battle.I know We are in a Battle for the hearts/minds and spirit of the citizens of our great country(s). I am very honored to be on your Team and am looking forward to leading the charge like the Centurion leader that I aspire to be. Orrin, with you and Chris Brady as our leaders,and the rest of TEAM leading the charge.The end results of our battle for a Million Leaders are not in question.The Only question is When will we reach that first Million?
