Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Dallin Larsen - MonaVie - Character & Class

The more I see and learn about this organization and it's leaders the more impressed I am with them. I feel we will find people who are like minded and have similar values. The viewpoint Dallin gives regarding the 6 month non-compete is fair and balanced. What business wants to hold someone who no longer wants to be a part of their enterprise. You treat them fairly and you keep a friend. They may even come back. Treat them vindictively and you create and enemy and lose your posture at the same time. Orrin, thank you for pointing us in this direction. I can't wait to see your benchmarking studies to understand the full extent of this choice. One thought thought came to me this morning, Orrin. The Hebrew nation was backed up against the Red Sea with Pharoah breathing down their necks. It looked like they had met their demise. But God opened a way and dealt with the enemy on their behalf. Some trust in chariots, and some trust in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. I think the salt air is invigorating. Don't you Orrin? God bless and our prayers are with you. Steve Leifheit
