Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: People Skills - Victory over Self
by Nathan
I love little articles like this on this blog. This was exactly what I needed to hear. I'll never understand why these fundamental truths of human interaction are not taught in schools. What I have learned through the TEAM and this blog rival/enhance the formal college education that I put myself in sizeable debt to attain. This blog is free. Reading a book on people skills costs a few dimes. Yet many people do not choose to take advantage of the resources that are out there that will drastically improve their lives. I am deeply humbled and thankful everytime I realize how far applying practical principles has brought me and that if someone hadn't shown me this reality that I might still be entertaining the concept of mediocrity. Thank you, Orrin, for spearheading this movement. I appreciate what you do, and most importantly who you are. You and the TEAM are in my prayers daily. To a million!!! ~Nathan
