Oregon,
It's unfortunate, but I believe you were mislead by Jody Victor's stage presence. The real Jody Victor is very different from the stage Jody Victor.
The real Jody Victor may actually have alterior motives to all the speeches he gave. He got to know all the groups. Dropped his father's name and insunuated that somehow he was the one who should get the accolades for what his father did. He used his father's name to get around the usual concerns of crosslining when bringing in outside speakers.
But, Jody sat on the hearing and ethics panel and I believe was even head of that panel for several years. By sitting in on that panel, Jody was privy to any squabbles Diamonds were having.
Isn't it interesting that after Don & Ruth Storms had their Crown business taken away, it was Jody Victor who picked up the tool income of a large section of their downline including Bob & Sue Covino? When Casey Combden was having problems, miraculouosly, Jody Victor comes in and scoops up Garry & Kim Coles tool business. Bob & Pat Howard, same story. Jeff & Elecia Fine, ditto. Peter Maddison, who was reported to at one time have over 10,000 people on standing order tape was reportedly recently terminated and Scott Larson's website has a letter sent out from the company stating that Jody Victor has graciously offered to teach & train Peter's group.
Isn't that a serious conflict of interest? That's a lot of tool income in just those groups alone and who knows how many more there are. I wonder what the percentage of Jody's real income from Quixtar is compared to his tool income.
No problem with people who built a business being compensated for their knowledge. But if someone used their position on the hearing and ethics panel, turned traitor on their former friends, and then went behind their backs and stole their tool income when. That person would not be someone I would admire.
That person is a dishonest, untrustworthy traitor at best.
