Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Amway/Quixtar's Illusory Contract Provisions
by DaveC
Orrin, How much longer does Amway/Quixtar plan on fighting this Quixotic adventure against the basic principles of contract law? Did you use the juxtaposition of Quixtar and Quixotic on purpose? It has never before occurred to me to make the connection between the unusual spelling of Quick Star (Quixtar) with Don Quixote, The Man of La Mancha. Is it possible that the leaders of Amway/Quixtar are as disconnected from reality as Alonso Quijana, who sees himself as Don Quixote de La Mancha facing giants and protecting Dulcinea (when in fact he is tilting at windmills)? Or is it possible that I am being too kind to these leaders in looking at them in this light and judging there motives? "Fire and Honor" DaveC (All Star Team)
