Orrin: Just began the book "Leadership and Self-Deception" by The Arbinger Institute today. I have read the Preface and through the first three chapters of Part 1 and it is quite evident what the challenge continues to be here. Allow me to quote from the book "Identify someone with a problem and you'll be identifying someone who resists the suggestion that he has a problem. That's self-deception - the inability to see that one has a problem. Of all the problem's in organizations, it's the most common - and the most damaging" We all struggle or have struggled at some time with this to a greater of lesser degree.
