Re: Re: Amway Leadership Development and Trust II

Our Sunday morning sermon speaks volumes of the differences between the leadership exemplified by the 2nd generation A/Q people vs the leadership from Orrin. The lead in to this morning's sermon is from Zechariah 9:9-11 "See, your king shall come to you; a just savior is he, Meek, and riding on an ass, on a colt, the foal of an ass. He shall banish the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; The warrior's bow shall be banished, and he shall proclaim peace to the nations. His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. As for you, for the blood of your covenant with me, I will bring forth your prisoners from the dungeon."
I'm sure that Orrin like any honest man would not even be comfortable to be compared to Christ. However, I believe he is following Him a bit better than some other leaders.
Here is the comparison: Very close to the time of Christ another man had conquered the world. His name, Alexander the Great, when mentioned today is even remembered. Compare how he conquered the world vs how Christ conquered the world. In the midst of his followers - he rode boldly on a mighty horse vs he rode meekly on an ass / a show of power vs a show of empowering.
Orrin has come to understand thur reading, reading & more reading and mentoring thur example to read, read & continue reading to obtain nuggets of TRUTH. Yes, Jesus was meek, but he was also loving enough of His Father's will & His Father's love to willing commit to the courage needed to confront the untruths that people follow and lead others to follow as well. Good Job, Orrin, and your Founding Brothers in continuing to follow Christ's example (I've witnessed this at events).
I'm much happier following a reader/leader and learning to lead from a Founding Brother/s. Before this, I was being fleeced of time, talent & treasure by the sons of Founding Fathers (A/Q).
