Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Amway vs. MonaVie Compensation Plans
by Anonymous
One More Comparison Here are some personal statistics from our first year and half in our old MLM (The time it took us to go 1000 PV) compared to our first week (3 days) in MonaVie. In our old MLM it took us roughly a year and six months to go 1000 PV, and that was in the same month where we personally did 600 PV (bought air purifier and such for the home) Our check that month if I remember correctly was around 120-150 dollars. We were not taking things easy either. Of course we didn't have exactly the same set of leadership skills as we do today, but we were showing plans, and lots of them. On a side note: In our old MLM it was not until we joined TEAM that we were able to sponsor more than 4 people into our organization. After 3 months in TEAM we had an organization of nearly 15 people. (We joined TEAM the month after we went 1000 PV) Now for the fun part: We had to start MonaVie completely from scratch because our old group in the other MLM was so new they were somewhat scared off and didn't follow what was going on. We don't chase/solicit them, we abide by the contract we signed with the old MLM and if they come to us then that is their choice. Our six month no-compete was up on July 1 (But I like to pretend it was July 4). We found a MV distributor in our family and asked them to sponsor us. The paper work was finalized late Tuesday 7/8 (almost midnight) so we went to bed after it was finalized. Wednesday 7/9 was spent 12 hours at work and the rest of time getting websites and such setup and trying to track down some juice we could buy that we wouldn't have to wait for shipping on. Without juice not much else was done on Wednesday, but I did notice that some folks in our upline had sponsored 5 people in our left binary in just one day! Thursday 7/10 I left work 2 hours early (10 hour day instead) so that I could pick up some juice from my upline and get it into the hands of prospects. After picking up the juice I taught a 1.5 hour karate class and made my first call in the evening. That evening I was able to share the juice with two individuals both of which enrolled as distributors! Friday 7/11 I hit the road immediately following work and we were able to share the juice with 3 people in which 2 of them enrolled as distributors! (The third one was a couple that wanted to read some information, the reason we have first night materials eh?, and did get put down as a definite for the Tuesday so long as they find a sitter (which I can help them with). I'm picking up the husband and bringing him myself while the wife is at work. I am positive with the information left behind and the Tuesday they will enroll that night! (Any suggestions on how to help 5 people go star in 1 week?) ;^) Summary: 2 days to go star 3 days to achieve 1600 PV I'll let you look at the compensation plan with the 8 ways to make money, add up our FOBs/TeamCommish/Etc and you can guess we are quite content with our first check at the rank of Star! Please check Average Star Income on the IDS so I can legitimately make these truthful claims. We completely intend on helping a minimum of 2 of the 4 we sponsored go star this weekend if not all 4. This is, by far, better than anything we have going for us financially right now. Thank you Orrin & Laurie, Chris & Terrie, Tim & Amy, Randy & Val, Dean & Teresa, George & Jill, Jim & Deloris, Claude & Lana, my personal upline PC,RT and sponsor for making this possible for us. With your continued support and mentorship, anyone we have left out that has inspired us, and the TEAM/Leadership Inc. training system. We know we cannot fail in our first major goal of going Gold and getting my fiancé out of a job she hates with a positional leader boss who berates the entire team. We love you! TEAM for life! God Bless You All! -Healing (really fast at this rate) Inside P.S. The MORE project part of the DVD has made me almost cry all five times. P.S.S. This post was not meant as a pride statement or bragging rights or something in any way. (Honestly, what sense would it make to brag as an anonymous user online?) I simply wanted to compare a new couple's experience between two separate MLMs since most of the comparisons to date have been for veteran MLMers. I want the new guy/gal to know that it is possible, it is amazing, the possibilities are endless, so "get out there, drink the juice, share the berries, AND GIT ER DONE!" (spelled wrong intentionally.. trademark?
