Re: A Network Marketer's Creed

Hey Orrin!
Great article. I have believed what you espouse here, for years. The bias that angers me is one that we Networkers hear all the time..."they only make money off the CD's and Seminars.." and the only reason we are in business is to trick people into buying the tools so we can REALLY profit! Nonsense! The other not-so-subtle insinuation is that anyone who buys the tools and goes to a seminar was duped into it and they are a victim for purchasing.
No one in my experience is EVER forced to buy tools they don't want! oh, I know some brilliant philosopher of networking, that, by-the-way, has NEVER built a successful organization will say that Orrin and "his kind" are Lying and Cowardly and are the Kingpins of some subcultural conspiracy....a plot to take over the world through excessive profits off of innocent victims who....BLAH!
That same person will say I am in on the scam, but keep in mind, self proclaimed professor, that I was with other MLM organizations before I joined Orrin and Team. I bought thousands of dollars worth of tools and flew all over the country, hired baby sitters and had little to no success. Am I a victim? NO. I am starting over with experience and more information.
Yes, I saw the internal character of so called leaders and their profit and ego filled motives, and I made a decision.....I LEFT! DID YOU HEAR THAT? I CHOSE TO NOT FOLLOW ANYMORE! That is when I found Orrin and got into the internal workings of TEAM (by building my business) and the information I got through their system WORKED! SO I STAYED....BECAUSE IT WORKED! Not only financially, but my spiritual life was growing and my relationships and character were improving...etc So I exercised my freedom of choice and I built the business.
Then when I saw the atrocities of a company that I was contracted with and how they were treating people and realized the limitations this was putting on my success...guess what I did?....I left!
You see Orrin, the media will try and tell people who experience failure that it is not their fault, that they are merely victims of some ruler who wants to use them to get rich, it must be the CD's fault it didn't teach you enough. It must be your upline's fault they didn't help you enough, you didn't get in at the top.....your not the right personality....Orrin doesn't like you....and you buy it, you buy their newspaper....and tell others about it and....at the end of your life, you're just alone, unsuccessful and they've moved on to exploit another victim who believes what they say and will promote their magazine.
I have never purchased a thing I didn't want to. I recommend you don't either!
