Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: The Soul of Network Marketing
by Josh
Hi Orrin, First, I'd like to apologize ... the more I think about my previous post, the more irrelevant to the conversation it seems to be. I would like to say, though, that I agree with your point that there should be a field led association created to ensure that free enterprise reigns throughout Network Marketing. What are your thoughts on how a field led association could accomplish this, though? Wouldn't they need the capability of exercising powers similar to the DSA? If so, I bet Dallin would be the best person to talk to in order to make it possible (considering he had a seat in the DSA at one time). I'm beginning to think that every single issue we face today (economically and legally) is due to one single factor, which is a lack of character on the part of corporate executives and CEO's. Enron, Fannie May, and direct selling companies that trap their distributors are perfect examples of people not only not doing what is right, but clearly doing what is wrong for their own benefit. God Bless, Joshua Hendrickson
