Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.

A friend of mine called me and didn't want to post his ideas on this blog so he just talked with me. He says that scientists believe that it takes roughly 10,000 years for evolution to change something into something else (i.e. a dog into a non-dog or a prequel dog into a dog, if you get my picture). So, he says, since it takes so long to change something to that degree, we won't see anything like that take place in our lifetimes. Let me update you on statistics. I won't refute his timeframe, but just assume he is accurate (but I doubt it). If it takes 10,000 years to change a species into a fundamentally different species (not a great dane into a different dog but into a non-dog), then we should see several examples every year! Keep in mind that we are working with several different crops and livestock in the farming industry plus zoo's and scientists are looking at other species as well. If we were merely looking at 10,000 species grand total (the total is really in the millions) there should be on average one specie a year turning into a different specie, unless you think all 10,000 change in the same year but no way could it happen in our timeframe. Also, according to evolutionists, humans have been raising crops and livestock for roughly 30,000 years. And in that timeframe (three times longer than is required to see a fundamental change in species in just one specie) no one has ever seen any animal, plant, fungus, bacteria, virus or anything else produce something other than more of the same. If we raise 10,000 species over 30,000 years and it takes 10,000 years to change one specie into a fundamentally different specie, then in that span of time we should have evidence of 30,000 different evolved species! We are currently at zero. Simple math says that if your theory is that far off, it's time to change the theory. You would have better luck winning the lottery by buying a ticket with no numbers than trusting in the theory that has been beaten up this bad.
