Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Boise State - Underdogs can Overcome!
by Anonymous
Wow! This is going to be a great movie. I can't wait to see it. I read an article in the Wall Street Journal a few months back about leaders in Japan (coaches and business men) who have asked to come to Boise State and talk with the coaches to see how they are having such great success. When asked why they wouldn't want to go to talk with USC or Florida or some of the power house programs who have won national titles they said that they liked the "new thinking" that the Boise coaches used. They knew they had to do things differently in their game planning to beat some of these teams which led to unconventional game plans and strategy. This is what coaches in Japan saw and wanted to study...the new cutting edge. Isn't it amazing how what is taught on the fields of competition transfers into so many other areas of life? As you always say, the principles of success are the same no matter what endeavor you are pursuing.
