Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Re: Re: Why Socialism Fails Everytime - Entrepreneurship isn't Rewarded

Here is Swami's reply. thanks, Orrin I would love to reply to Dave Nelson, but I understand if it is too much effort on your part: Swami Sadashiva Tirtha http://integrativehealthcareinstitute.com I agree with your statement giving money does not create integrity to create in life. That is why I cited social entrepreneurism as an alternative. It is not a theory I invented; it came from observing the real results of Muhammad Yunnis (nobel peace prize winner) who has brought millions of eager people out of poverty through micro-loans. True they do not have a welfare system, but his method has adapted in many ways throughout the US now and many successful social entrepreneurs are helping those who do want to get off welfare. Yes, some won't, but enough do, and once they start proving a success, it changes the experience for all in that state. These are the results - not my thinking. See examples on sites like ashoka.org. I do agree with you it is a hard choice for many to delay gratification, but as programs are working, more can be developed. Being a part of the solution and finding ways to inspire is a worthy challenge and makes life more worthwhile. Ironically, there may be a lot of money to be made in helping those who want to help themselves.
