Welcome to my leadership blog. Ideas have consequences and the goal of this blog is to discuss ideas of consequence. Some ideas you may agree with and some you may disagree. No worries. The only rules are that you post under your own name and that you think and discuss in a civil manner. People who attack others only prove they have reached the limit of their logic. The Bible states, "Iron sharpens iron" and we will sharpen one another by what we read, write and think. The goal of this blog is to help us identify and follow truth in all areas of our lives. I encourage you to join our leadership discussion and transform yourself and others through the renewing of our minds.
Re: Why Socialism Fails Everytime - Entrepreneurship isn't Rewarded
by Anonymous
I've read this elsewhere, and I'll say here what I said there. This is a boss that needs to count his blessings and stop taking his workers for granted. Any entrepreneur who has benefitted from a society of plenty owes a little gratitude to that society. I find it a matter of freeloading, for such a boss to suck from the bounties America has to offer, thinking he owes no one. The boss fails to realize, or care for that matter, about what layoffs will do to his workers. If anything, it sounds like an ultimatum, putting a gun to his own workers' heads, holding them hostage, either he gets to take more from his community, or he's going to fire them; while he gets into his nice car and drives to his nice house, his workers have to worry, especially when three million jobs were lost, if they will get a job soon, if they will lose their homes and families. The boss took from his workers, and at the end of the day, instead of sucking it up, his greed is more powerful than anything, even love for nation. The thought of taking his profits and running is not the makings of a patriot. In fact, it is a sign that America is little more than a meal ticket to such a man. This boss should be ashamed.
